Conversations for safer public spaces

Reclaiming Space, a new podcast from Red Dot Foundation Global, explores a simple but important question: What would it take for women and girls to move through the world freely and without fear?

For our first season, we are bringing together 12 guests from around the world whose work is reimagining safety in public spaces. We will speak with technologists, activists, researchers, urban designers and organisations working to change laws, institutions, infrastructure, social norms and the way our cities are designed.

Reclaiming Space is a podcast about solutions.

Each conversation is guided by the same set of practical questions:

Through these conversations, we hope to surface practical ideas, challenge assumptions and share approaches that can inspire action in other communities and cities.

12 conversations. 12 ideas. One question: How do we make public spaces safer for everyone?

Launching on 2 October 2026
